May 15, 2024 (New York) – We are pleased to share thatLatin Lawyer has named Patria Investments’ sale of ODATA to Aligned Data Centers its Deal of the Year, Mergers and Acquisitions: Private Companies. We advised Patria on this highly complex transaction, which signed in December 2022 and closed in May 2023.
ODATA was created by Patria in 2015 and is among the fastest growing hyperscale data center platforms in Latin America. The company has operational facilities strategically located across Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Chile, as well as additional data centers under development in jurisdictions across the region. This transaction marks Aligned’s expansion into Latin America and is expected to position it as one of the largest private data center operators in the Americas.
