Gloria Kim is an associate in the firm's Corporate Department and a member of the Finance Group. She represents transactional players from a range of industries in domestic and cross-border finance matters. Gloria’s clients include borrowers, lenders and agents as well as public and private companies, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, funds and asset managers. Her practice focuses mainly on secured transactions such as corporate financings, acquisition financings, fund financings, and restructurings. She was also one of a few women selected to be a Protégée for Proskauer’s Women Sponsorship Program, an initiative for high performing midlevel lawyers that champions emerging leaders.
Beyond her traditional practice, Gloria is committed to pro bono work, particularly in advising low-income individuals, small businesses, artists and museums. She also has handled criminal justice work and participated in efforts to enhance race relations. During law school, her passion for experiencing different cultures led her to participate in exchange programs to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Institut d’études politiques de Paris.
