As an associate in the Private Funds Group, Tracy Rizk counsels asset managers in the structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds, and on regulatory and compliance matters. Her practice spans an array of investment strategies, including private equity, hedge, credit, venture capital and growth equity.
She advises sponsors at all stages, from new managers launching their first fund, to established financial services firms seeking to enter the alternative assets space, to mature institutional managers looking to wind down. Her experience includes structuring management companies, creating multi-manager platforms, negotiating seed and strategic investments, succession planning and advising managers in the sale of their business.
Tracy has also represented a diverse set of investors, including employee pension plans, fund of funds, university endowments and family offices, in connection with their investments, and regularly advises her clients on market terms.
Prior to joining Proskauer in 2022, Tracy practiced in the investment management group at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP.
