NEW YORK, March 18, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced that it advised OL Groupe on its agreement to sell Seattle Reign FC (formerly OL Reign) to a group including the Seattle Sounders and global investment firm Carlyle. The sale price is $58 million and the transaction is expected to close in early 2024, subject to approval by the National Women’s Soccer League and Major League Soccer.

OL Groupe acquired Seattle Reign in 2020 for approximately $3.5 million and was also advised by Proskauer on that transaction.

The Proskauer team advising OL Groupe is being led by partner Jason Krochak and associates Arthur Burke and Alon Elhanan (Sports).
