LOS ANGELES, July 16, 2020 – Partner Tony Oncidi once again was named to the Daily Journal’s Top Labor & Employment Lawyers in California. A six-time recipient of this award, Tony was recognized for his contributions and excellence in the field.
Tony, partner and chair of the Firm’s West Coast Labor & Employment Department, represents employers and management in all aspects of labor relations and employment law, including litigation and preventive counseling, wage and hour matters, including class actions, wrongful termination, employee discipline, Title VII and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, employee raiding and trade secret protection.
He has handled a number of high-profile cases this past year, including cases for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (The GRAMMY Organization); for being lead counsel to several clients including Viacom, which is suing a digital streaming platform for interfering with high-level executive employment contracts; and for securing a summary judgment on behalf of a major Southern California Medical Center in two separate discrimination/wrongful termination lawsuits brought by former employees.
Earlier this week, Tony was named to Variety‘s Legal Impact Report, which spotlights the top attorneys in the entertainment business who have helped shape the industry over the past year.
