A six-time recipient of this award, Bart is a nationally renowned trial lawyer. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense and corporate investigations. A longtime member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, Bart boasts an impressive track record of victories in both jury and bench trials nationwide. He serves as trusted trial counsel for numerous Fortune 500 companies, providing invaluable litigation and counseling services in high-stakes, high-profile matters.
A leader within the Firm, Bart is chair of Proskauer’s Litigation Department and head of its Los Angeles office. He also serves on Proskauer’s Diversity Task Force, which is dedicated to developing, implementing and evaluating initiatives focused on recruiting, retaining, promoting and elevating to leadership diverse lawyers across the Firm.

He is the founding co-chair and member of the Board of Advisors of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Debate League (LAMDL). Seventy-five percent of the graduates have gone on to a four-year college, compared with under 50 percent of their peers in Los Angeles public schools.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the LA84 Foundation, a nationally recognized leader in support of youth sport programs and public education about the role of sports in positive youth development instrumental in supporting thousands of Southern California youth sports organizations through grant making.
