Vernon W. Lin is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Vernon has a general corporate practice, and counsels public and private companies across various industries in connection with domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and corporate governance matters.
Active in pro bono, Vernon has engaged in a variety of efforts related to immigration, asylum and representation of not-for-profits in the arts and Asian American public interest organizations.
Vernon earned his J.D. from the University of Toronto and B.A. from Yale University. During his legal studies, Vernon served on the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review and the executive board of Pro Bono Students Canada University of Toronto Chapter.
