Perry Kumagai is an Associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Commercial Litigation Group. His practice involves a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, with a focus on patent litigation, false advertising, and antitrust disputes.
Perry earned his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as a Submissions Editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation and worked on a variety of legal matters with the Yale Housing Clinic. While in law school, Perry interned with the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Perry holds a B.S. summa cum laude in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Prior to law school, he conducted metabolic engineering research in the biotechnology industry.
