Proskauer

Olivia Short is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department and is a member of the Private Funds Group. She advises fund managers, from first-time to high profile sponsors, in the private equity and venture capital space on a range of issues. Olivia’s engagements encompass the establishment and structuring of private investment funds, internal governance, carried interest arrangements and ongoing fund maintenance. She also advises various institutional investors on primary investments and secondary transactions, and she also has experience on GP-led transactions.

Olivia’s experience includes a secondment at HgCapital, where she gained valuable, first-hand insight into an asset manager’s operations and strategic goals. 

She was also one of a few women selected to be a Protégée for Proskauer’s Women Sponsorship Program, an initiative for high performing midlevel lawyers that champions emerging leaders.
