Margaret Swetman is an attorney in the Labor & Employment Law Department. With nearly two decades of experience, Margaret’s practice involves litigating claims of unlawful discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblowing, violations of restrictive covenant agreements, and other employment-related disputes in federal and state courts and in arbitration tribunals. She has represented clients in regulatory and administrative proceedings before FINRA, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Margaret also has significant experience representing broker-dealers and associated persons in disputes in federal and state court and before FINRA. Margaret also counsels clients on a wide array of workplace issues, and she assists in conducting workplace investigations related to issues of discrimination, employment practices and other misconduct.
Margaret is an Assistant Examiner for the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions.
