On May 15, 2024, partners Mike Ellis, Lauren Boglivi, Michael Callahan and Wai Choy joined chief legal and strategic operations officer, Winnie Lee Fraser, to host a small dinner attended by some of Proskauer’s New York-based in-house Corporate alumni. The gathering provided a great opportunity for attendees to reminisce about their overlapping years at Proskauer, strengthen ties with their fellow alumni and current attorneys and reconnect with the Firm.

Guests included alumni now working at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, Google, Havas Worldwide, MSG Entertainment, Own Company and Warner Bros. Discovery, among others.

As a welcome to the dinner, Mike Ellis, co-head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, shared some reflections on his own time at Proskauer.

“I’m in my 18th year at Proskauer,” said Ellis. “I find that, with each passing year, alumni events like this dinner provide me with opportunities to revisit what makes Proskauer such a special place. Without a doubt, it’s the people. Everyone who attended the dinner has helped not only make me, but also each other, both better attorneys and, more importantly, better people. We’ve challenged and nurtured each other in ways that exemplify respect, admiration and appreciation. I was thrilled to be able to spend an evening together with this group.”
