January 29, 2020 (New York) – International law firm Proskauer represented Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) in its entry into a definitive agreement to acquire Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT; TASE: GILT) for $532.5 million.
Comtech Telecommunications Corp. designs, develops, produces and markets innovative products, systems and services for advanced communications solutions. The company sells products to a diverse global customer base and offers a variety of advanced secure communication solutions including satellite ground station technologies (such as modems and amplifiers), public safety and location technologies (such as 911 call routing and mapping solutions), mission-critical technologies (such as tactical satellite-based networks and ongoing support for complicated communication networks) and high-performance transmission technologies (such as troposcatter systems and solid-state, high-power amplifiers).
