(July 2, 2021) – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced that its client Leisure Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), has successfully closed its merger with Ensysce Biosciences, Inc. The transaction reflects an enterprise valuation of $207 million for Ensysce, a clinical stage biotechnology company that is developing new classes of opioids that are resistant to abuse and overdose.
Proskauer has advised Leisure Acquisition Corp., since its IPO, in 2017.
