BOSTON, November 15, 2023 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, announced today that it advised Globespan Capital Partners (“Globespan”) on the closing of multiple secondary transactions generating $147 million in liquidity across two venture capital funds.
Globespan Capital Partners Fund V and Globespan Capital Partners Opportunity Fund VI each exceeded the current Cambridge Associates top quartile benchmark for LP DPI for their respective fund ages. The oversubscribed transactions provided liquidity to Globespan’s existing limited partners while maintaining the continuity of their ownership stakes in their portfolio companies.
Since its founding in 2003, Globespan has generated top-tier returns investing in technology startups at the “Go to Market” stage of their revenue growth curve.
The Proskauer team advising Globespan was led by partners Robin Painter, Christopher Robinson and Blake Halperin, and associates Corey Dietrich, Forrest Osgood, Shummi Chowdhury (Private Funds); and partner Jeremy Naylor and associate Emily Cummins (Tax).
