NEW YORK, Oct. 4, 2021– Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced that it represented longtime client Accor, a world-leading hospitality group, in the creation, structuring and implementation of its global joint venture with Ennismore. Proskauer advised Accor throughout the process of combining 14 hotel and co-working brands, and a collection of over 150 culturally-relevant and diverse restaurants and nightlife destinations for the joint venture, including acquiring complete ownership of several brands, licensing and collaboration agreements and related financing and equity agreements.
The newly-established lifestyle entity, known as Ennismore, is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality companies, with 87 properties and an additional 141 hotels in the pipeline. Accor is the new company’s majority partner, with a 66.67% stake.
Proskauer has represented Accor for more than 23 years, and has advised on numerous transactions and other matters across North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia, with an aggregate deal value of more than $10 billion.
