Sun-Yeong Shin is a special capital markets counsel in the Corporate Department and a member of the Real Estate Capital Markets Group, resident in the Chicago office. Sun focuses on securities and corporate finance matters including public and private offerings of both equity and debt securities, with an emphasis on REITs, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance issues and federal securities compliance matters.

Before attending law school, Sun practiced for two years as an accountant and consultant for a Big Four firm in Seoul, Korea, where she served multinational clients in the areas of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
