Sulman Ali Iqbal is a barrister (2016 call) and associate in the Litigation and International Arbitration departments.
Sulman handles a broad range of multinational complex commercial disputes, with particular experience of cases involving civil fraud. His practice also extends to high value complex cross-border disputes, often with an offshore element.
Sulman has experience in international arbitrations under various institutional rules, including ICC, LCIA, and UNCITRAL.
Sulman has significant advocacy experience having previously been at the self-employed Bar. Sulman is also called to the BVI Bar and appeared (led and unled) before the BVI Commercial Court and as junior counsel before the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal.
In 2023, Sulman completed a six-month secondment to the Litigation and Regulatory Department of a world leading investment bank.
