LONDON, June 4, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced that it advised Priveq, a leading Nordic lower mid-market growth and buyout investor, on the closing of its Priveq Investment VII fund.
The fund reached its hard cap of SEK 3 billion in a single closing within 3 months of launch, reflecting Priveq’s strong track record and significant demand from an investor base formed of new and existing investors in the Nordics, more widely in Europe, and the US. Notably, the fundraise also coincides with Priveq’s 40th anniversary.
The Proskauer team in London was led by partner Nigel van Zyl and special funds counsel Nick Rose and associates Sisi Kim and Alex Thompson (Private Investment Funds). The team also included partners Mary Kuusisto and Richard Miller and associates April McLeod and Emma McDonnell (Tax); partner John Verwey and special regulatory counsel Rachel Lowe and associate Sulaiman Malik (Regulatory). The Proskauer team in New York included partners Marc Persily and Robert Sutton and associate Sasha Burger (Private Investment Funds).
Proskauer’s work with Priveq underlines the firm’s track record of working with some of the most innovative and market-leading fund managers in the Swedish and wider Nordic market.
