LONDON, May 16, 2022 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, announced that it has advised the shareholders of Quentic GmbH, which is currently backed by One Peak Partners, Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, HTGF and the founders and management, on its proposed sale to AMCS.
Quentic is a German-headquartered Software-as-a-Service for EHSQ and ESG management business in Europe and AMCS is a leading global supplier of integrated cloud-based software and vehicle technology for the environmental, utilities, waste, recycling, and resource industries.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the coming weeks.
With this acquisition AMCS significantly broadens their expertise globally in the environmental services industry. Quentic’s management team will continue to shape both the brand’s and company's future as a global market leader for environmental, health, safety and quality management software and services together with AMCS.
The Proskauer team was led by partner Richard Bull and included associates Matt Clift, Jack Morant and Eleanor Craven (M&A) and consultant Paul Hughes (Competition and Anti-Trust). German law firms Vogel Heerma Waitz and Altenburg supported Proskauer on German law aspects of the transaction.
This deal adds to the list of transactions Proskauer has undertaken in respect of SaaS businesses and businesses with a clear ESG and green focus.
