December 4, 2017 (New York) – International law firm Proskauer advised Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI) and Island Eye Surgery Center, LLC (IES) in the closing of its private equity investment with Blue Sea Capital, LLC. Blue Sea made its investment through Spectrum Vision Partners, a management services organization formed to support growth of OCLI and IES by providing administrative services.
Headquartered in Westbury, New York, OCLI is a multi-specialty eye care group, recognized for innovative medical achievements, including performing the first refractive surgery in the world, being the first to implant the Symfony Multifocal IOL and performing the first glaucoma implant procedure with the iStent. OCLI operates a network of 15 state-of-the-art locations across Nassau and Suffolk counties, including the new ophthalmic surgery center IES.
