LONDON, October 24, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, announced today that it advised Isio Group Limited (“Isio”) on its agreement to acquire K3 Advisory Limited (“K3”), an insurance and risk settlement specialist. The transaction is subject to FCA regulatory approval.
Founded in 2020, Isio is one of the fastest growing pensions, reward and benefit and investment advisory businesses in the UK. The company has a strong track record of providing end-to-end de-risking solutions to trustees and sponsors as well as providing consulting and operational support to insurers to help increase overall capacity in a busy risk settlement market. The acquisition of K3 will advance Isio’s risk settlement capabilities.
K3 will continue to operate as a distinct service offering within the Isio group, enhancing the risk settlement services on offer with a focus on overall value and efficiency.
Proskauer has previously advised Isio and its management in connection with the strategic investment from private investment firm Aquiline Capital Partners LP, its agreement to acquire Deloitte Total Reward and Benefits Limited, the UK pensions advisory business of Deloitte LLP, and its agreement to acquire Premier Pensions Management.
The Proskauer team advising Isio was led by partner Andrew Houghton and associates Eleanor Craven and David Hill (M&A). The team also included special international labor and employment counsel Nicola Bartholomew (Labor & Employment); special regulatory counsel Amar Unadkat (Private Investment Funds); partner Stephen Pevsner and associate Charlotte Ahamed (Tax).
