Kieran Murphy is a partner in Proskauer’s Real Estate Department. Kieran represents private equity funds, hedge funds, ’40 Act funds, banks and other private capital providers in complex real estate financings and direct equity investments. Kieran’s practice on the debt side focuses on the origination, purchase and sale and workout of mortgage, mezzanine and construction loans, preferred equity investments and intercreditor arrangements. On the equity side, he concentrates his practice on joint ventures, recapitalizations and acquisitions and dispositions of real property and equity interests therein. Kieran's varied experience with both debt and equity real estate investments enables him to navigate multi-faceted transactions with agility for his clients. Kieran also has extensive experience structuring and executing sale-leasebacks and other net lease transactions, including in the context of bankruptcies and strategic corporate transactions.

Kieran received his Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University and his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.
