Jordan Sazant is an associate in the Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Group. His practice focuses primarily on the representation of debtors in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings. In addition to representing debtors, Jordan has represented interested stakeholders across company capital structures, including secured lenders, official committees of unsecured creditors, and equity sponsors.
Jordan earned his J.D. at Washington University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude, and has a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University. While in law school, Jordan was a student clerk for the Honorable Barry S. Schermer of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Eighth Circuit. Prior to law school, he worked as a bankruptcy technician for a major Canadian accounting firm.
