Gawa (Jiahua) Zeng is an associate in the Tax Department and a member of the Private Funds Group.

Gawa advises both US and non-US fund managers of private investment funds, including credit funds, buy-out funds, venture capital funds, secondary funds, hedge funds and other investment partnerships on tax aspects of formation and operation of their funds.

Gawa also advises funds-of-funds, sovereign wealth fund investors, and other institutional investors on their investments in private funds, and represents secondary fund managers on various types of secondary transactions. Gawa also has experience advising on financing transactions, including debt restructuring.
