Henrique Carneiro is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Antitrust, Appellate and Trial Groups.
Henrique represents large corporations in several complex antitrust litigation cases spanning the pharmaceutical, agriculture, energy and sports sectors, including in MDLs. Most recently, he played a key role in securing a defense jury verdict on behalf of Sanderson Farms in a six week price-fixing trial in federal court involving damages claims exceeding $7 billion. He also has significant experience drafting dispositive motions, preparing witnesses for depositions and trial, and coordinating discovery.
In addition, Henrique is an experienced appellate lawyer, having argued before the Second Circuit and litigated bankruptcy, administrative law, criminal and civil rights appeals in several circuits.
Henrique is also an accomplished musician. He graduated from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in 2018 with a degree in jazz trumpet performance and has performed at various venues in New York City, including Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Henrique earned his J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2022. While at Northwestern, he was an intern in the United States Attorney's Office in Chicago and externed for the Hon. Amy St. Eve of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
