Chelsea V. Samuels is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Fiduciary Litigation and International Compliance & Investigations groups.
Chelsea has extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil and commercial disputes across a wide range of industries. She also has significant experience representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries of trusts and estates in complex fiduciary litigation. Chelsea has a proven record of achieving favorable outcomes in high-stakes matters, demonstrating strategic and meticulous advocacy.
Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling to discovery, motion practice, and trial as well as experience in all aspects of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. Her ability to navigate complex issues with discretion fosters trust-based client relationships while delivering strategic, results-driven representation. Chelsea also has experience conducting large-scale internal investigations, providing clients with comprehensive guidance on key legal and compliance issues.
Chelsea earned her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor and Senior Style Editor on the UC Irvine Law Review. She was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and graduated with Pro Bono High Honors. While in law school, Chelsea completed clerkships with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and Public Counsel Law Center. She also represented domestic violence survivors through her law school’s Domestic Violence Clinic.
