Charlene C.K. Saji is a special LP counsel in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Funds Group. Her practice focuses on the representation of institutional investors and funds-of-funds in their investments in private equity funds, venture capital funds and other investment vehicles in the alternative asset class. Drawing on her experience in representing fund sponsors, Charlene advises clients on the review and negotiation of investment documentation in addition to other related matters.
Prior to focusing her practice on investor-side representation, Charlene provided counsel to a diverse group of fund sponsors on the formation and structuring of their funds, as well as on day-to-day operational and regulatory matters and on the representation of institutional investors with respect to their investments in private funds. She also has experience with management company structuring and with secondary transactions.
Before joining Proskauer, Charlene was a visiting research scholar at the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, researching trends in the private equity industry.
