Andrew Surgey is a Private Credit associate and member of the global Finance practice and Private Capital Team.

Andrew specializes in leveraged and acquisition finance as well as general banking. 

Andrew represents a variety of clients including private credit funds, private equity sponsors and corporates on unitranche financings, mezzanine financings, PIK financings and other subordinated debt structures in both the middle and upper debt markets.

Prior to joining Proskauer, Andrew was an associate at Travers Smith LLP where he specialised in acquisition, fund and specialty finance in the firms’ London office. Prior to that, Andrew worked at Bowman Gilfillan in South Africa where he advised both corporate and lender clients in a variety of African jurisdictions.
