As a private funds associate, Alex Starr advises a diverse group of private sponsors, asset managers and secondary investors on a full range of both primary and secondary transactions, including traditional and synthetic secondaries acquisitions and dispositions, and GP-led restructurings. He has extensive experience representing clients in these transactions acting as sponsors, sellers, buyers and a wide variety of syndicate investors.
In addition to his experience on secondaries transactions, Alex’s practice also includes counseling a broad array of private clients with their investments in US and non-US private investment funds, as well as private equity funds in fund structuring, formation, fundraising and ongoing operations.
