Join us in our new London office for the first session of season two of the Proskauer Private Credit Academy. In this series, we will build on the foundations of season one, which covered fundamental aspects of private credit lending. We will consider recent market trends and developments affecting private credit lenders in the European leveraged loan market.
Session 1: Liability Management Transactions - Part I
We start the new season discussing the increasing prevalence of liability management transactions in the global leveraged finance markets. Over two sessions, we will consider the various techniques which have enabled stressed borrowers to incur further debt and/or otherwise alter their capital structures to the detriment of existing creditors. We will also discuss various creditor protections which should be contemplated to pre-empt the anticipated up-tick in liability management transactions in Europe.
