LONDON and NEW YORK, August 8, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced it advised DARAG Group (“DARAG” or “the Group”), a leading legacy acquirer with a focus on the European market, on the sale of its North American and Bermuda business entities to the RiverStone Group (“RiverStone Group”).
The sale is expected to close by year end subject to regulatory approvals.
This transaction simplifies DARAG’s operations, allowing the Group to focus on its core European business, and brings additional capital to execute its strong pipeline of European transactions, several of which are in advanced stages of negotiation.
The global Proskauer team advising DARAG was led by special counsel Bruce Raphael and partner Andrew Wingfield and included associate Jack Morant and Francie Kelley (M&A). The team also included partner Martin Hamilton and associate Carrie Slaton (Tax).
