William T. Walsh, Jr. is a trial lawyer and complex commercial litigator. Billy’s practice focuses on high-stakes litigation, including multidistrict litigation defense, “bet-the-company” antitrust and intellectual property matters. He is seasoned in all facets of litigation, including courtroom advocacy, development of case themes and strategies, and pre-suit investigation and counseling. Billy represents clients in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, financial services, life sciences, technology, healthcare, commercial real estate and insurance.

Billy is also known for his extensive experience litigating in the District of New Jersey. His unique knowledge of New Jersey’s Courts has made him a sought-after local counsel for a wide array of federal and state matters.

Billy has been recognized on Best Lawyers' "Ones to Watch" list for Antitrust, Intellectual Property and Insurance Litigation.

Billy was judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jose L. Linares, former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He also served as appellate clerk to the Honorable Maryanne Trump Barry of United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Outside of the courtroom, Billy has served as the District of New Jersey Delegate for the Third Circuit Bar Association Board of Governors, and has been a member of Columbia Bank's Millennial Advisory Board. Billy is currently a Trustee for the District of New Jersey Historical Society as well a member of the New Jersey Federal Bar Association, the Lifland Inn of Court and the New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
