Tyler advises public and private companies, private equity firms, and executives to achieve strategic business objectives through bespoke executive compensation and employee benefit arrangements. He works with clients to solve issues that arise during corporate transactions and the ongoing management of equity and phantom equity plans, nonqualified and qualified deferred compensation plans, and health and welfare plans. He regularly drafts and negotiates employment agreements, separation agreements, and change in control and other incentive arrangements.
Tyler brings a pragmatic and creative approach to his practice. He strives to understand his clients’ current and future aspirations to design tailored compensation and benefit arrangements that will further their goals.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Tyler was an attorney in the Qualified Plans branch at the IRS, Office of Chief Counsel, an associate in the Executive Compensation group at another major New York-based law firm, and a Tax Associate at a Big 4 accounting firm.
