Jennifer Hicks is a partner in the Private Funds Group and Corporate Department.
Jenn’s practice focuses on advising private fund sponsors on all aspects of their business. She has deep knowledge about private credit, buyout, infrastructure, secondaries, venture and growth strategies, and has significant experience fundraising across a number of other strategies.
Jenn works with clients on all types of investment structures that include funds of one, separately managed accounts, joint ventures, co-investments, rated note investments and season and sell and treaty funds. In addition, she advises on seed and anchor arrangements, succession planning, partner and employee separations, sales of asset managers, GP-led transactions and other asset manager transactions.
Jenn also advises clients on their primary investments and secondary transactions, which include portfolio sales of limited partner interests, tender offers, strip sales, direct investments and stapled secondaries.
Jenn serves as co-chair of the Firm’s Asian Lawyer Affinity Group, and is committed to the Firm’s and her client’s diversity initiatives and efforts. She has been recognized for her pro bono service in support of Asian Americans and is an active member of several Asian and Korean American bar associations and professional groups.
